Born in 1979, saxophonist, vocalist and composer Nicolas Kummert has already performed in more than 30 countries worldwide and recorded some 30 CDs so far with a.o. Qu4tre, Pierre Van Dormael & Vivaces, Karl Jannuska, Matthieu Marthouret, GrooveTHing and DJ Grazzhoppa DJ Bigband.
As the name of his own project implies, Nicolas Kummert Voices pays a lot of attention to vocals, and how! A poetric tribute to Jacques Prévert mixed with jazz and African music results in a unique sound where fusion, chanson, pop and jazz go hand in hand.
